When I first went freelance, I posted on an old burner TikTok account I’d once used to test push notifications that reached millions of users (gasp). On a whim of unmasked honesty, I started talking about how I’d lost myself to my career, and along the way my videos have reached over seven million views as I’ve been doing the work, both online and in private. Oh, and shortly after the burner account became The Recovering Girlboss™.
So far, as a creator, I’ve been lucky enough to work with brands including Eucerin, Uniqlo, Profile Books and Treatwell. I’ve popped links to some of these videos below. Could you be my next brand partnership? 💡
Throughout my career in digital content, set against a cultural backdrop of hustle culture and a collective craving to digitally disconnect, I’ve seen how culture, creativity and burnout collide in our increasingly blended online and offline worlds. Both on the media side and inside the TikTok machine, I’ve watched this dynamic evolve and personally experienced it myself.
Brand Partnerships
Editorially, I’m curious about who people are beyond their job titles. I love finding out about people’s work, but I’m even more fascinated by what keeps them grounded outside of it. The hobbies, habits and small joys that help them stay themselves when the laptop closes or when the director yells “cut.”
There’s doing the work 💼 and then there’s doing the work 🧠, and I’m fascinated by how each informs the other.
Now, I’m creating conversations that go beyond job titles. From famous faces to everyday voices, I’m always asking what doing the work really means for each of us. I explore topics including mental health (I have OCD and ADHD), self-worth and all things self-discovery.
In my content and interviews, I explore the middle ground between ambition and switching off, and what balance and fulfilment actually look like in real life - not on a curated feed.
If you’d like The Recovering Girlboss™ to interview your talent, whether that’s at a press junket, on a red carpet or live on stage, you can check out the press pack below for more details.
